Battle Scene (Ember vs Areya and Ellias)

With this piece, I tried more color layers to see if I can get a more vibrant look to my overall picture. Still learning, but fun trying new things with each new piece.
I also tried doing more movement studies in this picture as well with the characters poses. This is kind of my stepping stone towards starting animation studies soon.
If anyone has any beginner friendly tools I can look into for animation, please let me know. I'd like to start learning that soon, so any suggestions would be helpful.
